Training In Lieu of Experience - TILE Car to HC

TILE Course - Car to Semi licence

This course is designed to provide the student with an introduction to legislation affecting heavy vehicle operators to enable a process from Car licence straight to HC licence.

Pre-requisites are:

  • Minimum age and driving experience requirements as per DPTI licence requirements. Participants need to be at least 19 years of age
  • Existing medical conditions must be advised prior to enrolment as some clients may be ineligible to undertake this training.

  • CITB Funding available for the practical - subject to availability and application. Applicants must hold a valid CITB number

    $1000.00 off the cost of course for a CITB member (valid for practical only - subject to acceptance)

Equipment Used

Classroom based with demonstrations on HC vehicle.

What to Bring

  • <u>You will need to complete the pre course booklet and bring that with you completed on the 1st day of course</u>

  • Photo Identification (i.e Australian Driver's Licence, Passport)
  • Provide your SA drivers licence
  • Driver's Licence and abide by the conditions of your current licence - e.g wear prescription glasses
  • Wear enclosed footwear
