TLIC3005 Drive Heavy Combination Vehicle - RTO 40218

HC Truck Licence

This course is designed to provide the student with the skills and knowledge to drive a Heavy Combination Truck (semi trailer) as per Regulator licence requirements and obtain a HC Driver's Licence.

Pre-requisites are:-

  • Minimum age and driving experience requirements as per DPTI licence requirements.
  • Existing medical conditions must be advised prior to enrolment as some clients may be ineligible to undertake this training.
  • For Car licence straight to HC licence - TILE course must be completed.Bookings for the 2 day theory course can be made by phoning the office on 85622258

  • Clients are able to apply for Restricted truck licenses for the purpose of the delivery of farm produce.

    Clients going from Car - HC will need to apply to Services SA for a HC Learners permit once completed TILE course.

  • Loading and securing Heavy Combination (vehicle and trailer).

What to Bring

  • Photo identification (ie Australian drivers licence, passport)
  • Driver's Licence and abide by Conditions of you current licence - eg wear prescription spectacles.
  • Wear enclosed footwear.
  • TILE Certificate (if applicable)
